The event coordinator of the 2011 Men's Health Conference approached me with a need for flyers and conference t-shirts to be designed. With a short time frame I felt that I was able to provide them with a fairly sound branding campaign to promote the event.
Considering the targeted audience of African-American males, the choice of colors, imagery and font type was geared toward appealing to them.
The very first element created was the handout, which was needed immediately to help put the word out.
I also designed a front and back t-shirt to be sold at the conference.
